Rolling maximum. Omitted options preserve legacy warmup and gap behavior. Supplied skip searches period finite observations and holds across gaps; propagate requires period chronological finite bars. Insufficient or all-missing history is NaN. Invalid option-path periods throw RangeError; malformed policies throw TypeError. Periods must be positive safe integers.

Bar-aligned lengths select the current maximum window; NaN lengths give gaps.
